Radio Freedom ist ein Schauspiel mit Tanz, Musik und Visuals für Kinder ab 10 Jahren (deutsch und englisch, 75 Min.), inspiriert vom gleichnamigen, verbotenen Hörfunksender, der sich ab den 1960er-Jahren als Stimme der Anti-Apartheid-Bewegung und Wegbereiter afrikanischer Freiheitsbewegungen verstand. Die Theatergruppe ANSICHT, die Musik- und Tanztheatergruppe IYASA aus Simbabwe und das Next Liberty Theater Graz bringen eine neue Version nach Österreich.
Jakob Hütter verantwortete Bühne und Konzept (mit Martin Winterleitner), die objektangepasste Projektion und die Produktionsleitung Video/Mapping; die Video-Inhalte entstanden mit Hanna Besenhard und Jakob Figo.
Radio Freedom is a play with dance, music and visuals for children aged 10+ (in German and English, 75 min.), inspired by the banned radio station of the same name, which from the 1960s saw itself as the voice of the anti-apartheid movement and a media pioneer of African liberation movements. The theatre group ANSICHT, the music and dance theatre group IYASA from Zimbabwe and the Next Liberty Theater Graz bring a new version to Austria.
Jakob Hütter was responsible for stage and concept (with Martin Winterleitner), the object-mapped projection and the production lead for video/mapping; the video content was created with Hanna Besenhard and Jakob Figo.
